The performance-oriented MID-CUT boot can handle all sorts of terrain. It impresses users with its pleasant rolling prop­erties and its perfect cush­ioning. These features are created with the help of the mid-sole made of LOWA DynaPU®, a PU mixture developed espe­cially for LOWA to create perfect wearing comfort. Thanks to the slightly elevated LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the sole construction provides optimal stability and a simple, everyday design. The necessary grip is delivered by the LOWA® Multi-Trac® outsole that is also well suited for athletic uses thanks to its multi­func­tional profile design. With the help of the GORE- TEX membrane, the boot is 100 percent waterproof and highly breathable. It is ideal for use in warmer regions as a result. Combined with a synthetic upper made of the highest-quality material and a lacing system that uses closed hooks, the footwear provides an optimally tailored fit.

Midsole
100% Poly­urethane (PU)
Poly­urethane (PU) is a soft plastic that has very good cush­ioning prop­erties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Through the use of PU, the soles become light­weight and func­tionally flexible.

Insole
Approx. 50% Memolatex
Memo latex is composed of very soft latex foam. In addition to being light­weight, memo latex supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. It is primarily used in shoe insoles as a result. Memo latex also indi­vidually enwraps the foot and is partic­ularly comfortable as a result.

Approx. 5% Fabric
Our natural and synthetic fabrics facilitate optimal warming and moisture management with the help of their usage-specific char­ac­ter­istics. Thanks to their structural design, they are smooth and make our products extremely comfortable.

Approx. 45% Felt
Felt is a textile fabric that is made of disordered fibrous material that is difficult to separate. The textile fabric is char­ac­terised by its high elasticity and its insu­lating qualities. As a result, it is used in particular as a component in insoles and as an insu­lating divider.

Our natural and synthetic fabrics facilitate optimal warming and moisture management with the help of their usage-specific char­ac­ter­istics. Thanks to their structural design, they are smooth and make our products extremely comfortable.

Approx. 70% Synthetic
Our synthetic fabrics made of such plastics as nylon, polyester, polypro­pylene and elastane (Lycra) are primarily used as design elements and protection for the upper due to their abrasion resistance and tear strength.

LOWA DynaPU® provides noticeable cush­ioning with every step.

CLOSED HOOKS
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.

SUPPORT FRAME
A special frame design known as LOWA MONOWRAP® provides stability.

DOUBLE INJECTION
The double-layer midsole is directly injected onto the footwear. The layers include carefully coordinated degrees of rigidity to create the best-possible comfort.

Construction methods
Injected Construction
To create optimal cush­ioning and the very best comfort, the soles of LOWA multi­func­tional shoes are directly injected. The complex injection process attaches the slip-lasted upper directly to the sole. This method creates shoes that offer optimal cush­ioning and are partic­ularly light­weight.
