FEATURES
The shaping of the rear of the saddle provides uniform support.
ERGO SHAPE. Repente's R&D department has paid maximum attention to avoiding any impediment to the freedom of hip articulation and the internal leg muscles during the downward phase of pedalling, thereby creating an advantage for the cyclist in terms of comfort and pedalling efficiency.
The central anatomical channel, characteristic of Prime saddles, has been further widened.
The padding layer has been increased over the entire surface of the saddle. To ensure a more comfortable ride on uneven terrain and during long distances, EVA material has been used, known for its high lightness and shock absorption properties.
The nose of Prime 3.0 features square-section padding to provide optimal support during the forward phases of seating.
In the saddle's graphics, aesthetics combine with functionality. The sides of the front part are characterized by a graphic pattern in glossy paint, which has the effect of reducing friction between the inner thigh and the saddle.
A concentration of technologies
The rail is made of unidirectional T700 carbon with differentiated sections. The saddle's support structure is made of PA12, reinforced with long carbon fibers (LCF technology): the technopolymer is strengthened not with common carbon fragments, but with long carbon fibers which, thanks to a particular injection process, are arranged according to the longitudinal flow of the material, forming a weave that increases the resistance of the structure. This technology minimizes the risk of support deformation.
In Prime 3.0, Repente has also applied its proprietary RLS technology for pad replacement.
For the saddle cover, Repente has used a water-based non-slip PU, already successfully tested on other Repente models, including Quasar. This solution allows the athlete to maintain the best positioning on the bike during all phases of performance, without creating any impediment to normal position adjustments.
