What is VAR0?
Next to our traditional colorways variations that we call 1, 2, 3, etc, we now offer a premium “Ready-to-paint” option called VAR0, with “0” signifying no colorway. “Variation Zero” is the starting point of your special project.

0 = No Colorway: VAR0 stands for “Variation 0” — raw carbon, no unnecessary paint.
Lightest visual finish: the minimal PU clear coat saves grams while preserving aesthetics.
Surface irregularities: natural carbon texture and patterns remain visible — a badge of authenticity and performance.
Before you paint:
Ready-to-paint: no deep sanding needed — just a light scuff is enough.
Protective base layer: the existing PU coat protects the frame and supports paint adhesion.
Brand decals: Applied over PU clear coat, easy to remove and replace.
Warranty note: Your frameset will be covered by our warranty but not your custom paint. While preparing the frameset for your custom paint avoid aggressive prep or chemicals.
