These are the requests that Ueli Steck made when he first came to Karpos, immediately presenting a great challenge to our research and development department. How could we put all these features together? It took years of attempts and field tests. Before achieving the final result, we went to the Himalayas and, together with the “Swiss Machine,” climbed to 8,000 meters in search of extraordinary performance.
