Scorpion™ MTB Soft terrain è il pneumatico da mountain bike studiato per i terreni morbidi e inconsistenti. Il battistrada è realizzato con tasselli alti e distanziati per supportare la guida quando il pneumatico tende ad affondare e per scaricare il terreno pesante accumulato, senza per questo flettere e garantendo quindi un’alta precisione di guida e grip assoluto anche in condizioni impegnative e difficili.
L’utilizzo della speciale mescola SmartGRIP Compound garantisce alta improntabilità e resistenza allo strappo allo stesso tempo, risultando in un alto grip in ogni situazione climatica, sia essa asciutta o bagnata: il migliore alleato della tua performance offroad.

COMPOSIZIONE
BATTISTRADA
IL battistrada di Scorpion™ MTB Soft Terrain è composto da tasselli più alti e ampiamente distanziati tra di loro che garantiscono un’ottima penetrazione del terreno ed un alto grip sia meccanico sia chimico, rendendolo perfetto anche per stili di guida più aggressivi. L’altezza dei tasselli e la loro rigidità favoriscono la penetrazione del terreno e l’azione propria di grip meccanico, garantendo un ottimo comportamento e feeling in frenata e in trazione nonché un ottimo supporto in curva. Lo specifico spaziamento della tassellatura dello Scorpion™ Soft Terrain e la formulazione della mescola favoriscono inoltre lo scarico del materiale accumulato sul battistrada a basse velocità.
MONOMESCOLA
SmartGRIP Compound è una mescola che utilizza le tecnologie chimiche più avanzate per ottenere due caratteristiche tipicamente antitetiche nel mondo offroad: resistenza meccanica e grip chimico. Questa formulazione permette di raggiungere un livello tale di performance da poter essere utilizzata in tutto lo strato di gomma che compone il battistrada. L’utilizzo di una monomescola garantisce che le prestazioni non calino al crescere dell’usura del battistrada, criticità invece tipica delle mescole multistrato. Pirelli sceglie la mescola migliore per ogni battistrada e ogni dimensione, nessun compromesso tra grip e handling su asciutto e su bagnato.

La struttura dei pneumatici Scorpion™ MTB è ottimizzata per lo stile di guida e l’utilizzo del consumatore finale. Diverse combinazioni di materiali, densità, spessori e dimensioni danno vita a pneumatici dalle caratteristiche di guida differenti, garantendo altissimi livelli di handling, grip e scorrevolezza su tutti i tipi di terreni. Sotto il nome di Tailor Development si racchiude l’approccio di Pirelli concentrato sullo sviluppo e la massimizzazione delle prestazioni dello pneumatico in ogni sua misura e versione, sviluppando soluzioni ad-hoc per ogni singolo pneumatico del catalogo Scorpion™ MTB
