The Merida Silex 7000 (MY25) is engineered for bikepacking and long-distance exploration. Its carbon frame provides superior vibration damping, while its unique geometry—featuring a long head tube and a short stem—ensures agile and confident handling even when fully loaded. Equipped with high-end components, it is ready to tackle paved roads, gravel, and challenging trails.

Full Technical Specifications:
• Frame and Fork (Adventure Geometry): o Frame: SILEX CF2 II high-modulus carbon. It features a clean aesthetic thanks to Nano Matrix Carbon technology, which increases impact resistance. The geometry is defined by a long head tube for an upright riding position, reducing fatigue on long journeys. o Fork: SILEX CF2 carbon, designed to absorb micro-vibrations. Includes integrated mounts for fork bags, ideal for bikepacking. o Integration: Wire Port system, allowing cables to enter the frame directly through the headset, eliminating clutter and protecting cables from dirt and debris. • Drivetrain (Gravel-Specific): o Rear Derailleur: Shimano GRX820 12-speed. This high-end mechanical groupset is designed specifically for gravel use, featuring an integrated clutch (Shadow RD+) to prevent chain slap on rough terrain. o Gearing: Shimano GRX820 crankset with a single chainring (1x), paired with a 12-speed cassette, providing an ideal range for both steep climbs under full load and fast flat sections. • Braking System and Wheels: o Brakes: Shimano GRX820 hydraulic discs.
