The Merida Ninety-Six 6000 represents the evolution of the famous World Cup-proven XC/Marathon mountain bike. This full-suspension bike combines the racing pedigree of the previous Ninety-Six with new responsiveness and the ability to tackle the most demanding modern XC and Marathon courses. FRAME AND SUSPENSION The CF4 carbon fiber frame with Nano Matrix Carbon technology ensures superior lightness, optimal stiffness, and a 40% increase in impact resistance. The 100mm P-FLEX suspension system leverages material compliance to eliminate the pivot point between the seatstay and chainstay, saving weight while adding rigidity. The 120mm RockShox SID fork offers greater downhill capability, complemented by the Fox Float Performance rear shock with adjustable low-speed compression. COMPONENTS AND GROUPSET The drivetrain features the 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle groupset with an 11-50T cassette, providing a wide gear range for any terrain. The SRAM X1 Eagle DUB 32T crankset ensures pedaling efficiency. SRAM Level Silver Stealth brakes offer maximum safety with a 4-piston front caliper (180mm) and a 2-piston rear caliper (160mm). WHEELS AND TIRES The 29" Merida Expert TR wheels (29mm internal width) are tubeless ready and mounted on Novatec SL-TEAM hubs (110x15mm front, 148x12mm rear). Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.3" tires with TR EXO 3C MaxxTerra technology provide exceptional grip and reliability on technical terrain. COCKPIT AND FINISHING The 760mm Merida Expert CC aluminum handlebar ensures optimal control, while the 60mm Merida Team CC III stem (size S) promotes an efficient riding position. The Merida Comp TR dropper post with variable travel (125mm for size S, 150mm for M/L, 175mm for XL) allows you to optimize your position based on the terrain.
