Tubus, the travellers' racks
Tubus designs light, extremely tough chromoly steel tube racks, chosen by riders crossing continents. A very long warranty and a worldwide spares network make it a safe choice for travel.
Racks and mounting
In racks you will find the Tara, a front lowrider that lowers the bags' centre of gravity, and steel rear racks for heavy loads. For thru axle bikes there are specific axles with rack mounts.

Steel or aluminium rack?
Steel is more elastic and, if it breaks, easier to repair on the road; aluminium is lighter. For long loaded tours steel is often preferred.
