The RENEGADE has stood for exactly one attribute in particular over decades: the perfect fit. To take this feature to the next level, LOWA has added a few special details that make the new RENEGADE EVO GTX MID even more refined. Attention was paid, for example, to providing the upper with additional comfort by using just one single piece of material for the inside of the forefoot area. This refinement eliminated the need for superfluous seams, so that the nubuck leather can now flexibly adjust to the individual shape of the wearer’s foot bones, preventing friction and taking pressure off the big toe joint. The dual-zone lacing system also supports this effect by making adjustments to individual needs even easier, thanks to the redesigned locking hooks. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane is a further guarantee for heightened comfort. In addition, the new RENEGADE features a newly designed sole package: the directly injected midsole comprises two impact-absorbing components. The first layer is made of LOWA® DYNAPU® and the second of a firmer element that works in tandem with the CROSS OVER FRAME to provide optimal guidance. The new VIBRAM-RENE-TRAC® sole provides dependable grip.

MIDSOLE
100% Polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Through the use of PU, the soles become lightweight and functionally flexible.
INSOLE
Approx. 30% Polyester
Polyester is synthetic plastic fibre made from crude oil. In chemical terms, it is a polymer that can be processed into many different materials. Thanks to its chemical flexibility, polyester is lightweight, dries quickly, does not shrink and has the highest levels of tear and abrasion resistance.
Approx. 45% Felt
Felt is a textile fabric that is made of disordered fibrous material that is difficult to separate. The textile fabric is characterised by its high elasticity and its insulating qualities. As a result, it is used in particular as a component in insoles and as an insulating divider.
Approx. 10% Mesh
Mesh is a material that consists of many evenly spaced holes. It is usually made of polyester or nylon and basically a lattice-like material that is created by interwoven threads. Thanks to its special design, the man-made fibre is particularly permeable to air, has special moisture-regulating qualities and is easy to care for, breathable and crease-resistant.

Memo latex is composed of very soft latex foam. In addition to being lightweight, memo latex supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. It is primarily used in shoe insoles as a result. Memo latex also individually enwraps the foot and is particularly comfortable as a result.
UPPER MATERIAL
100% Nubuck leather
Nubuck leather is a full-grain leather that is slightly sanded, a process that lends a velvety look to the leather. Nubuck leather is especially durable, robust and open-pored. Depending on the desired look, the suede can be left untreated during the manufacturing process or oiled or waxed.
LINING MATERIAL
100% GORE-TEX
Footwear equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane is reliably waterproof, windproof and breathable.

CONSTRUCTION METHODS
Injected Construction
To create optimal cushioning and the very best comfort, the soles of LOWA multifunctional shoes are directly injected. The complex injection process attaches the slip-lasted upper directly to the sole. This method creates shoes that offer optimal cushioning and are particularly lightweight.
