The long-sleeve version of our Espresso 2 Jersey is ideal for cool days when you want a light covering for your arms, and it’s equally good for bright sunny days, with UPF 30 protection blocking 97% of UV rays. When we set out to make the original Espresso Jersey, we wanted to create the jersey that you’d always reach for, no matter whether you normally wear an aero race-fit jersey or a more regular-cut jersey. We developed a fabric that would allow for a close-to-body fit without being constrictive or feeling tight. Our proprietary Air_O fabric also offers great breathability and moisture management and, amazingly, tests well in the wind tunnel. With innovation in our DNA and a healthy obsession for details, we set about perfecting our favorite jersey. The updates on the Espresso 2 Jersey include even better fit: close to body but never restricting. We focused a lot of attention on improving the pocket structure, giving even better support and compression while reducing pocket sag, and we added a nice finish to the edge. Of course, the fourth zippered pocket remains essential for valuables. You can find the updated subtle logos in tone-on-tone color, and our signature red scorpion on the zipper puller.

PRODUCT FEATURES
The project started with a blank piece of paper in the Castelli product development office and a curious question, “What does the modern-day cyclist really need to achieve maximum performance in cold conditions?” We pushed our partner Polartec® to go beyond, and together we developed a fabric technology with the modern-day cyclist at its core. Polartec® AirCore™ — the revolutionary PFAS-free, electrospun, semi-air-permeable membrane protects cyclists who ride in cool conditions with the possibility of light showers. With our continued focus on improvement, we introduce the exclusive Polartec® AirCore™ fabric in a new 219 g weight, meaning the Perfetto 4 now gives extra warmth and protection. The Perfetto Jacket has always been instantly identifiable on the road. The iconic shoulder taping has been updated with a modern look and feel, using a transparent chameleon tape that allows the main body fabric to show through. The Polartec® AirCore™ fabric works harder and smarter the more effort you are applying to your ride, so the iconic Perfetto zippered ventilation openings are no longer a requirement. The Perfetto 4 Jacket features a reimagined ergonomic splash tail, effectively guarding the rider against road spray. With a nostalgic nod to our original Gabba, we have added metal drainage holes to the rear pockets. For the cyclist seeking maximum performance, the Perfetto 4 Jacket adds complete comfort.
