Ayurveda is one of the oldest natural medicines in the world, recognized by the Indian health system, which has long since entered the stream of holistic treatments and is finding more and more space within antiaging therapies. Ashwagandha is considered a Rasayana, which is a substance that acts as a tonic that helps you maintain mental and physical well-being.

Some clinical studies have shown that the plant can have neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects. Inflammation of the tissues, which is very frequent in athletes engaged in high training volumes, is the basis of many disorders. Ashwagandha taken regularly helps reduce the onset of inflammation and can help prevent conditions that are potentially harmful to your health.
Some studies show benefits of Ashwagandha in increasing testosterone levels, this consequently also has positive effects on anabolism, i.e. on muscle growth and hypertrophy.
