The TXS GTX is a technical hiking and backpacking boot—suitable even for use with fully loaded packs—that excels on *via ferratas* and approaches over hard, rocky terrain. Comfortable, lightweight, waterproof, and breathable, it features a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane. Drawing on the "TX Series" approach-shoe heritage, it offers a lightweight, comfortable feel thanks to its highly abrasion-resistant mesh upper. An abrasion-resistant rand and a protective rubber toe cap ensure maximum safety, while the 3D Flex System ankle joint allows for excellent mobility and stability. The TXS is a structured, protective boot featuring a stabilizing insole that makes it suitable for extended use. Its super-grippy Vibram Megagrip sole—featuring a pronounced heel and hiking-oriented lugs of varying thickness—provides excellent braking on descents and reliable traction on ascents. The perfect choice for demanding hikers.
