The Merida Big.Nine 3000 represents the entry point into Merida's carbon hardtail range, combining the proven CF3 frame with high-quality components and nearly 50 years of bicycle manufacturing expertise. This hardtail MTB is specifically designed for XC and Marathon disciplines, offering a perfect balance of lightness, stiffness, and comfort. Mountain biking is one of the most varied cycling disciplines and arguably the most demanding in terms of equipment. While full-suspension bikes offer impressive riding characteristics, the classic hardtail remains one of the purest tools for pedaling. The Big.Nine range, equipped with 29-inch wheels, is available in both carbon and aluminum and features multiple geometry options.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE The X-Tapered headtube provides the space for a tapered fork to be fitted, ensuring exceptional stiffness and precision for steering that inspires confidence even in the most demanding technical sections. SMART ENTRY Cables, housings, and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to manage Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cables, and gear cable housings. NANO MATRIX CARBON To protect the integrity of the carbon frames, the fibers are bonded together with an epoxy resin with added nanoparticles, increasing impact resistance by up to 40%. AWS (Air Way System) When creating individual carbon elements, an inflatable internal bladder is used to ensure there are no wrinkles inside the tube. This results in a frame that is lighter, stiffer, and stronger.
