Pirelli has had over 110 years of success and sporting history, but cycling is the oldest link of the Bicocca company with sport, as evidenced by the rich archive of historical materials, sketches, photographs and audiovisuals preserved and enhanced by the Pirelli Foundation documenting this long business history.

Pirelli launches P ZERO Race 150 °, a special version of the racing clincher dedicated to the company's 150th anniversary, which began its tire production with a bike tire. The celebratory tire made its debut on the bikes of the Trek-Segafredo World Tour team during the just-concluded Giro d'Italia.

The TechBELT Road carcass improves reliability against punctures without affecting the weight of the tyre while the special SmartEVO Compound enhances the grip performances both on wet and dry asphalt compared to our previous cycling compounds

The tread pattern of P ZERO™ Race is an evolution of the design of P ZERO™ Velo: several seasons of research and developement on the roads of the World Tour led to a new design that enhances the behaviour of the bicycle in every weather condition.

COMPOUND
SmartEVO Compound is a new formulation that enhances the already excellent performance of our previous road cycling compounds. The experience of motorsport competitions and World Tour winner input led to our best road cycling compound ever.

STRUCTURE
The new tube-type carcass developed to provide puncture protection in a wide variety of conditions. A light yet flexible casing structure with an added layer of high cut resistant fabric.
