Protein Whey Concentrate is a food supplement based on whey proteins. Whey proteins known as Whey are obtained by separation from casein. These proteins are characterized by very high quality thanks to the high and complete content of amino acids. Whey Protein Concentrate is the form of whey protein which contains, in addition to the high protein content, also a small amount of carbohydrates, fats and lactose. How much protein should an athlete consume?

In sedentary subjects, who do not practice sports, a protein dose of 0.8 g per kg of body mass is recommended. The protein requirement rises in the life of an athlete, in endurance activities the protein requirement is around 1.2/1.4 g per kg (up to 1.6 for those who train many hours a week). In strength sports, where the main objective is muscle growth, the required protein dose ranges from 1.8 to 2.5 g per kg.

Take 2 to 3 scoops per day, which is equivalent to 30g or 45g of protein. Dissolved in 250-330 ml of water or milk, after training to speed up recovery and maximize protein synthesis. Alternatively they can be taken in snacks to reach your daily protein needs.
